SYSL's life blood is it's volunteers. Everything we do revolves around volunteers. The most obvious needs are volunteers who can coach teams - but the need is much greater than that.
Please click on the Volunteer pages from the menu bar above to see what some of the most acute needs are for our league. We literally can't operate without your help. Also, some companies will give the league matching dollars for your donated money or time. Please check with your company. It's great to get a donation - it's fantastic when a company provides a corporate match to double your contribution! Also, please see Bob Pepi for documentation of donations for tax purposes.

The other side of the equation is that of sponsorship. If you or your small business (or large corporation) is amenable, there are opportunities to sponsor teams as well as scholarships. As you may know, there are many families in the Stamford community who are in financial need. SYSL makes every effort to help these families with a limited number of scholarships to enable these children to play soccer. The kicker is (no pun intended) that in order to give the scholarships, we need donors. If you or your company can make a donation to the scholarship program, please contact Bob Pepi.
Over the years, Stamford families and businesses have made wonderful donations of their time and money as well as sponsorships. Please consider helping here where possible.
