Set up an email list of your team players.
Set up a phone tree within your team for occasions such as a game cancellation.
Let each parent have a game schedule.
Keep all of the contact information with you at games and practices.
Expect conflicts and request that parents inform you when a player cannot be present at a game or practice or may be late.
Let the parents know what is expected of them from the beginning – tell them to sit five feet from the sideline on the opposite side of the field from the coaches and players (except the junior division).
Some teams organize parents to bring refreshments – it is up to you.
Some teams organize a small party at the end of the season, for example pizza or ice cream – it is up to you.
Ask for assistance when needed from your commissioner.
